Our People

Ram Niraula is our Nepalese Programme Manager who lives in Sunsari and is responsible for talking to the communities, and deciding, with them, on their needs, how Development Nepal can help, and then arranging in consultation with Development Nepal for this support to be provided. Ram Niraula heads up a small Nepalese programme team.

The UK side of Development Nepal comprises unpaid trustees and volunteers who are responsible for fundraising, providing strategic direction and advice to the local Nepalese team, and oversight, including use of charitable assets.

Development Nepal and the Trustees are fortunate to be supported by volunteers and advisers, drawn from a wide range of professions and skillsets. Development Nepal is thankful for the contribution of all these individuals who add significant expertise, creativity enabling the charity to achieve greater impact.
